Grey Love

"Don't define the world by black and white, there is so much hiding amongst the grey"- Anonymous

Hello guys,

How are you all? Winter has finally started to make its presence fell here in Ahmedabad. I love winters because this is the time when my oily skin and scalp start to behave normally. It is also that time of the year when I can apply makeup without any worries.

The outfit that I would be sharing today depicts my love for grey. Grey color fascinates me as it combines two of my other favorite colors-black and white. I was on a look out for a perfect pair of grey jeans since quite a long time. Getting a perfect fitted jeans that too on a student-friendly budget was quite a task.

I have been a Myntra loyalist since I started to shop online. Apart from the large collection of brands that it offers, I also like their in-house brands a lot. The grey jeans I am wearing in the outfit is from Roadster. The jeans fit me like second skin and even the length was just perfect. It was like a love at first site and I knew I wanted it in my closet the moment I saw it. I choose this lace top from Dressberry, another in-house Myntra brand, as it just complemented the jeans. The multi color of the top gives the much required oomph factor to the otherwise plain outfit. What attracted me towards the top was the print on it. By just looking at the top, it is hard to tell that it is made up of lace. The top is super comfortable to wear.

I wore my most comfortable pair of black wedges to go with the look. I didn't accessorize much, just a pair of white earring and I was good to go. For the makeup part, I used everything from Maybelline. Those who know me personally are well aware of my love for Maybelline because it is one such drug store brand which offers quality products at a very pocket friendly price. I used their newly launched White Superfresh Compact for my face and Color Show lipstick in shade Caramel Custard for my lips. For eyes I used their Colossal range- eyeliner, kajal and mascara.

I hope you liked the outfit. As I have just started, I look forward to suggestions from you guys.

Love XOXO

All about Denim

Hey Guys,

And here I am back again with my third post. I am in the best phase of my life right now. I am doing what I always wanted to do and all this brings so much happiness in my life. There is a whirl of excitement accompanied with a little nervousness every time I post something. But I am loving all this and I would suggest everyone to follow their dreams even if it means breaking the stereotypes and following an altogether different part.

Coming on to today's post, it depicts my love for Denims.I had tried to capture the festive spirit in my last posts and thus opted for a casual chic look for this post. I love denim in all forms be it denim dungarees, jeans, bags, shoes, etc. The thing about denim that attracts me more is the comfort as well as style quotient it comes with. 99% you can never go wrong by incorporating denim in your look.

I have paired a blue denim shirt with a slightly darker blue denim jeans. The shirt and the jeans complement each other very well be it the shade or the fit. The shirt and jeans both are from Roadster, a Myntra exclusive brand. I absolutely love their collection. The collection brings out the biker chic in you. It just has the perfect element of style and sexiness in their clothing range.

I opted for minimal accessories for this look as I wanted my outfit to be the main attraction. I wore a pair of metallic earrings which further accentuated my look. To add a pop of color to my outfit, I carried a pair of platform wedges in beige color. They are super comfortable and you can wear them the whole day without any hassles. Last but not the least I picked up a pair of black holographic sunglasses to go with the outfit. It just added an another level of appeal to my outfit. For makeup I just added a pop of color on my lips and little bit of eyeliner with loads of mascara.

This was all about my outfit. Now I would like to share with you certain tips on how to carry your denim on denim look:
1.)Do not opt for same color and washes. Opt for a darker jeans if you have a heavier lower body and lighter shirt as it would highlight your upper body, Darker shades also provide a slimming effect.
2.)If you are too apprehensive if you would be able to carry of the trend or not, try to pair a blue denim shirt with colored denim pants.
3.)Do not ever pair your denim on denim look with denim accessories like bags or shoes.

That is all for today. Keep showering your blessings and love.

Peach Perfection

Hey Guys,

So here I am with my second blog post. I am really overwhelmed by the love you all have showered and welcomed me in the blogging world.  Today's post is on the outfit I wore for New Year. Hailing from a Gujarati family, New Year is one of the most important festivals. I get to meet my relatives, even the distant ones and thus I make sure that I wear something trendy, eye-catching as well as comfortable.

I paired a long kurta in Coral Peach color with white leggings. The kurta is made up of floral print net with a silk inner. What I liked the most was the floral net sleeves and the white net yolk. There are black imitation buttons which go very well with the kurta as you can find the kurta has black floral accents.

As the kurta had quarter length sleeves I just paired a delicate silver bracelet and a ring with it. I skipped wearing any necklace or pendant as I wanted all the attention to be on my earrings. I got this earrings from a local shop and it was like love at first sight.

I applied a matte lipstick in coral shade on my lips and went light with my eye and face makeup. Just a little bit of pressed powder and I was good to go. I went the classes way and lined my eyes with black eyeliner and added a lot of mascara. To add a little bit quirkiness to the outfit I carried a black graphic printed sling bag.

This was all about my outfit for New Year. I would be back soon with a new post soon.

Wishing you guys a Happy New Year.
Lots of Love :*

Diwali Ready with this Festive Look!

Hey Guys,

This is my first post. I seriously had butterflies in my stomach during the shoot as well as when I was writing it down. Blogging is something that I have been doing for around past 2 to 3 years as a freelancer. I am really glad that now I have finally have gathered courage and taken the plunge to start one of my own. There is not any particular thing that I would be blogging about but the main theme of each blog post is going to be fashion. I would share my personal style as well as various other stuff with you guys. Stay tuned for more fun!

Marsala had been declared the Pantone color of the year 2015 so I had decided way back that I would use it in my Diwali outfit. I like to play with colors, so I settled for an off white slit top with orange and navy ethnic print with marsala palazzo. The top is made up of cotton spandex whereas the palazzo is made up of chiffon. For me comfort comes first before any trend and thus I chose this easy breezy outfit for Diwali. The slit imparts the perfect style quotient needed to look glamorous this festive season. The top is body hugging and accentuates your curves perfectly.

The top has a high neck with zip opening and I decided to keep my accessories minimal. I paired two-sided drop pearl earring with a simple golden bracelet. I wanted the whole attention to be on my outfit rather than the accessories. For makeup I decided to highlight my lips and keep my eye makeup subtle. I did this makeup for day time look. If you are going out during night you can even try the classic smokey eyes with this outfit.

I hope you enjoyed my Diwali look. This is just the starting of a long journey and I would be glad to have you all by my side.

Thanks a ton for your support.
Happy Diwali!!
