Flower Power ft. Style Splash

Hey guys,

How are you all?? So now even February is going to end. I still cant believe that my favorite month is going to end. I like February a bit too much because my skin and hair are at their best during this time and also the annual fest of my college, Synapse, takes place in the end of February. Those 4 days of fest are the best time of my college life. This year it is going to my last Synapse and I really wish to enjoy it to the fullest.

Coming on to today's outfit, it is a formal look with a twist. I have paired a floral printed coat with a pencil skirt for my look. I got this floral look from Style Splash. It is an Instagram based e-store which specializes in women's wear. They have a wide variety of dresses, jumpsuits, blazers, etc to choose from. The coat which I got was white in color with red and black flowers. The coat is very comfortable to wear and you can easily pair it with anything and everything. I felt at ease wearing it. It has a button in front for enclosure.

I wanted to quirk up my look and thus went all gold with accessorizing part. I wore a multicolored gold neck piece. Neck pieces like these are very much in vogue right now and you can get them at your local stores. I had got this one during my Navratri shopping. As the coat had floral print, I paired a pair of golden floral earring with it. I got this earrings from Gharaz by Vishakha. It is also an Instagram based store which specializes in customized and designer jewellery.  As it was going to be a formal look, I wore a paired of black wedges to complete my look.

That is all about today's outfit. I would be sharing my looks from the fest on Instagram. Don't forget to follow me.

Ethic Fiesta ft. Craftsvilla

Hey folks,

So how is the weather treating you all?? Its finally Spring time and I am so very excited. Spring is my favorite season as the temperature is neither high nor low. I find a very different kind of solace in the atmosphere around me. As you all might have guesses from the title, today's post is going to be about traditional Indian wear. The wedding season is going on in full swing and the outfit that I am going to share today is one such piece which incorporates in itself the major fashion trends of this season.

Everyone of you might be aware of Craftsvilla. It is an online shopping portal which specializes in Indian wear. You can find a wide variety of sarees, salwar kameez, lehengas, jewellery, etc at a very affordable price. There are various sellers to choose from and thus you can opt for one which fits your bill. They mostly have semi-stitched outfits and thus they can be customized according to your need. The outfit which I got from them is a floor length anarkali suit. The colors of the suit were the main reason I went for it. Floor length suits are very much in this wedding season. The dress has a black bust part with pink and white design on it. There is a centre slit in the front from the bust. The suit has white lower part with golden design on it and a pink net outer part. The suit is made up of georgette and is very comfortable to wear. I paired it with a pair of white plain leggings. The only downside is the plain white dupatta accompanying it. It would have been more appealing if the dupatta had some sort of design or embroidery on it.

As the anarkali suit had three-quarter sleeves, I did not wear any bangles or accessories. I just opted for a pair of golden earrings to complete my look. The dress itself was so appealing on its own that it did not need anything else to complement it. I wore my most comfortable pair of white heels as weddings require a lot of running around. I went for bright pink lipstick and matched it with nail paint of same color. I kept my eye makeup minimal because of bright lips.

So this was all about my look. Do let me know whether you liked it or not. I would be back really soon with something new for you guys. Till then keep showering your love and blessings.

Get set for Valentine's Day

Hello peeps,

Valentine's Day is just around the excited. There is love everywhere in the air. I like how everyone tries to do their best to impress his or her Valentine. This is the time of the year when you can see gift shops flooded with some amazing items. I guess everyone should celebrate Valentine's day irrespective of the fact that they have their someone special in their life or not. You could make the day special by celebrating it with your friends and family.

The outfit that I am going to share today is a perfect outfit for the Valentine's day. The two main factors that I have considered while styling this outfit are comfort and glamour. You should dress in such a manner that you look glamorous enough to make heads turn and also comfort level is maintained. Instead of opting for the traditional LBD, I opted for a chic denim mini dress. Denim has been very much in trend. From denim overalls, shirts to dungarees you can find denims ruling the runways.

The dress is of thigh-length and is made up of very soft as well as breathable fabric. It has light floral print on it which is not visible on the pics. It also comes with a fuchsia pink braided belt. The dress has a fitted bust and flares from the bottom. I have a thing for this type of dresses. They suit almost every body type. The dress is perfect for a date with your Valentine be it daytime or nighttime.

I tried to change my hairstyle a bit and thus pinned back my bangs. I like getting bangs done but feel too frustrated and lot more irritated when they just fall on my face. I went with my black platform wedges for footwear. Wedges are a great option when you want to look tall and at the same time want the comfort level to be intact. I went for pink shade on my lips and other wise kept my makeup to minimum. I am a minimalist when it comes to accessories but still I could not resist wearing a set of rings to complete my look.

That was all about the look for Valentine's. I hope you like it. Keep showering your love and blessings.

Casual to Glam ft. Sissies Attire

Hello folks,

How is everyone of you doing?  I hope everyone is in pink of their health. The weather is quite confusing here in Ahmedabad. Sometimes it is extremely cold and at times afternoons are too sunny. February has been treating me very well. This has to be my favorite month of the year as I really love spring and there are a lot of weddings happening around and I am always excited to be a part of them.

This post marks 3 months anniversary of my blog. I have been into blogging since last 3 years almost. I had been freelancing before and at that time I had never thought that I would have a blog of mine someday. I still do not what triggered me to start a blog of my own. Sometimes time is just perfect and things fall into place. The past 3 months of blogging have been really the most amazing. I have met some wonderful people and made some really good friends. Though this blog is 3 months old I still do get butterflies in my stomach when I publish my post. I am still excited about shooting and promoting the blog on various social media platforms. I feel as if it was just yesterday when I had written my first blog. People have been really supportive virtually as well as in reality. All those messages and comments really motivate me to do better each time. Many have even asked me about how to start blogging and be a successful blogger, but for that I am still a new comer. I may do it sometimes later in the future.

Today's post is going to be about two outfits that I styled from sissies_attire. It is an Instagram bases e-store which specializes in women's wear. You can find a wide range of tops, maxis, one-pieces, etc. They had sent me a beautiful blue tie-dye off-shoulder and a very glamorous black and golden one-piece.

For the casual look, I paired the top with a pair of black shorts. This shorts are actually a pair of DIY shorts. I was pretty bored with the pair of denims and thus I got it cut short into a pair of sexy shorts. It is a perfect casual daytime look for the upcoming Valentine's day. As both the top as well as shorts had white detailing I wore my favorite pair of white heeled ballerinas to go with the outfit. I wore a pair of silver earrings to give the whole outfit a different dimension. As it was an off-shoulder top and I wanted whole attention to be on my neckline and thus did not wear any neck accessories. Also I wanted to accessorize my phone and for that I used this phone cover from www.madanyu.com. They have a wide range of phone covers for a wide range of mobiles. I choose this phone cover which read "I like my money where I can see it hanging in my closet". The cover complements my personality pretty well.

Coming on to the second look, it is a very glamorous yet vintage kind of look. The dress I got is a very pretty dress in black and golden with a slit in the front. The slit actually is the main highlight of the dress apart from the classic black and golden obviously. I styled the dress with a pair of black heels. For the accessories I just wore a pair of double sided earrings and I was ready to go. I highly recommend this outfit for Valentine's night.

That was all about the two looks that I created. Both the looks are very practical as well as wearable. I am sure you would definitely stand out with any of these outfits. I would be back again next week with one of my very favorite outfit.
