Hello Guys,
I am back with another post. This time I am going completely desi with my look. Most of you guys don't know but I would prefer Indian wear over Western wear any day and my close group of people even suggest me to try it as it suits me more. The outfit that I am sharing with you all is one I wore for my cousin's Sangeet function.
I was very excited about the wedding because it is the time when you get to meet your near and dear ones. Nowadays everyone is so preoccupied with their lives that we rarely get to interact with our relatives. I love the concept of big fat Indian wedding. All the functions have a significance of their own and from all I love Sangeet the most. Everyone is in their jolliest of moods, dancing away the whole night putting forward their best dresses.
I was very confused as what to wear for the function. I did not want to wear the usual lehenga choli but something unusual and comfortable. fabboom.com came to my rescue at the right time. This pretty anarkali over a lehenga just sorted out my dilemma. The best part about this outfit is that it can be worn in three different ways. I have already styled it in one way. For the second look you can get the net removed from the anarkali and it would be converted into a pretty choli. As for the third look you can pair the anarkali with a churidar or ethnic pants. I choose this style as it was unique as well as apt for the function. You can see how it can be styled in different ways here.
The fabric of the whole outfit is super comfortable. The anarkali is made up of velvet till bust with a net below it. The lehenga has a crepe inner with a net flower printed outer part. For the accessories part I wore chandbali earrings and a golden handcuff. The handcuff is so versatile that it would even go with western outfits. For makeup I applied golden eyeshadow all over my eyelids and applied a dark red lip color on my lips. I have applied nail paints in Gold and Copper from Miss Nails. I received the perfect shade for the wedding season. Two coats are enough for a perfect finish and they stay on nails without chipping for almost 5-6 days.
That is all for my wedding look. I hope you guys liked it, Keep showering your love and blessings.
Love XOXO
